Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs)
Two full rotations of each joint each day allows your joints to receive more oxygen and blood flow, encouraging flexibility, vitality, and pain relief! After my ACL tear and subsequent surgery, this routine was a key factor in maintaining my joint health. The important thing about this exercise is that the movement should be pain free. As you rotate, stop if you feel pain and stretch the joint before attempting to mobilize it again.
Below you will find some great videos to follow along with until this quick routine becomes a lasting habit! I like doing this before I go to bed or right when I get up in the morning!
