Blooket
Blooket is a great assessment tool that utilizes gamification and social interaction to asses students understanding through multiple choice questions that are 100% customizable by teachers and can be played in a group setting or individually. Students can also sign in using a school account in order to keep track of their stats on different Blooket quizzes.

Teachers can see how they are performing on the different topics. If used correctly, teachers can use the quizzes to identify students progress in understanding the Learning Objectives for their courses. Because Blooket quizzes can be accessed by students outside of class, this makes it an extremely useful tool to provide repetition for students and immediate feedback that is difficult to get in class. Due to its nature as a multiple choice format, it is not the best format for questions that require creation with the language, but it does help with the beginning stages of Bloom's taxonomy quite well.
Canva
Canva is a great tool to design many different kinds of resources for your class! It acts as a easy graphic designing tool and if you use Canva Pro, you can create a cohesive theme for your resources as well! I love using Canva to make presentations, worksheets, and other class aides. One of the greatest aspects of Canva presentations is the capability to add a timer during class, which can help keep your students on track, and the Q&A in Canva live where your students can respond individually to warm-up questions. If you're looking to convert to Canva, you can upload your Power Points to it very easily! You can also have students create in Canvas, which allows them to make presentations, social media posts/stories, posters, collages, and more! This allows your students to create with the language and channel their creativity.

Wordler
With all the Wordle craze going on right now, I wondered if there was a resource for students to use Wordle in the target language. Not only can you find Wordle in Spanish, but you can also create custom Wordles in the website Wordler. It isn't super easy to navigate and has some bugs (like choosing a picture of a grave for the Spanish word grave - serious) but overall, the app is fun and engaging. I am considering making one for each chapter of words that are 10 letters or less so that students can complete a "daily wordle" for their Spanish class as well. Wordler draws upon students ability to recognize pictures and conceptualize what they mean and how that relates to their vocabulary words. Students have to think of other words that are the same length in order to get clues about what the word could be. This tool requires more creation than Blooket but takes mor time on the teacher's end to develop.

Vocabulary Practice
Juego de píramide
This is a great game to use to help students practice their ability to explain the vocab words in the chapter, rather than just focusing on the native-language equivalents. This allows them to develop their ability to use circumlocution, a skill that comes in useful for those learning a second language.

Vocabulary and Grammar Practice
Shark Tank
This is a great activity that focuses on building on grammar and vocab from unit 9 of Experiencias: Intermediate Spanish. This chapter focuses on technology terminology and covers si clauses, including future, conditional, and imperfect subjunctive tenses. The shark tank project allows students to take what they are learning in class and apply it using creativity step by step.
